SUMMER {OH- How fast it went by}

We had a wonderful summer and now looking back I wish we were still in it! I usually can download pictures then move them around in the order I want but for some reason I can't get it to work so these are in order from later in the summer to early summer. We spent a week in Bear Lake with some great friends and had a blast! Ally learned to ski and I learned that Brynlie is not scared of anything, she loved the tube! Britton learned to knee board and lets just say there were some tears shed.

We hiked the Minnetonka Caves one of the days. I had never been there before it was pretty neat!

On Sunday we headed over to Paris and took a tour of the Tabernacle. (still Bear Lake Trip)

No summer is complete without a Days of 47 Rodeo! Yeeha!

This little girl turned 2 in July. I can't believe she is that old

We made our annual trip to Caldwell to visit some wonderful friends! Had us some fun at a lake, which now I cannot remember the name. That's what happens when you suck at blogging!

Britton and Bryn and the above said Lake on Caldwell trip.Lagoon..... It's what fun is! My friend and I took the kids minus Brynlie and spend the whole day.

The next few pictures are of the 4th of July. My family gets together and we have the Langford Games. It's a "friendly" competition of sorts, mostly we make fools of ourselves and laugh. Yes those are nylons on thier heads!

I'm not sure the point of this game. I think if you were willing just to do it you got points. That is Kelly.

Here we are on the 4th, all dressed in our red, white and blue!

And last, but first, thing to start the summer off....We went to the summer games. All the kids did so good and won a lot of medals. Good Times!

The important Things you should take pictures of.....

On more than one ocassion ,while looking back through my camera, I have found Britton's photo sessions! They make me laugh! Today's theme is all about superheros. Last week it was flowers from the yard. Thought I would share his view of "some good pictures"- his exact words! He also made sure I saw his angry face. I counted, and he had taken 48 pictures- thank goodness for digital cameras!

They Say it's Your Birthday...

Well actually it is. Yes, today I turned another year older and hopefully wiser too. I woke up this morning and ran a 5K fundraiser for the Red Cross, it was done by my sister-in-law's ward. The whole family did it, Kelly ran and pushed the 2 youngest and Ally and I ran. It was Ally's first 5K and she did great, she won 1st place for youth/girl. I actually won 1st place too for old/woman. Just so you know there were not a lot of people running the race but it makes me feel good to say that i won!
Anyway.... i got my painting done finally. My dad has been fixing all the nicks and dings and nails that have popped. Then i did some Prom hair, I actually like doing prom hair, it's fun, then we went to dinner and got some good Mexican food.
I received my annual song and dance from my Mom ( she always sings her version/mix of happy birthday it's quite the site) and my sister brought me some beautiful Gerber Daisies- they make me smile. AND all of my brothers called me to wish me a happy birthday, they are pretty nice guys! Oh yes and we did a little shopping at Ross dress for less-my favorite! I got a very cute skirt, shirt and some capris! Love that place! All in all it was a good day!

Goldilocks

Janelle, Amanda and I decided it would be fun to ride an all women's bike ride called Goldilocks. So Saturday bright and early we loaded up the bikes and headed to Herriman. It was a beautiful day! We signed up to ride 60 miles, I had never gone that far before to tell the truth and the weather had not been the greatest, so I had only been on my bike twice this year. I seriously wondered if i could do it! I also had never gone riding without Kelly so I was worried about someone getting a flat. Kelly gave Janelle and I a quick lesson on changing a tire but I was just praying that we wouldn't need to worry about it. Boy was I wrong!

About mile 37 guess who gets a flat??? ME! and the back tire to boot! BUT wait they have these guys driving around (called PAPA BEARS, isn't that cute) to help poor women like us who would like to think they could change a flat but really can't. This is Alex, he is a saint!
Yep, you guessed it not 20 minutes later my back tire was flat again! This is Ryan. He was kinda hot! He helped us out! Thank goodness for PAPA BEARS!

2 flat tires, 2 falls, burning toes and 60 miles later, we made it!

Yes it was fun and worth it, we even signed up to do it next year!

SURPRISE!

This handsome young lad turned 4 on April 28th. We had a little party, the surprise kind, where you dress up or where your favorite super hero shirt. Some got more in to it than others and that's okay! Kelly got him out of the house and we all hid in the basement waiting! He loves to hide and scare people so we were going to get him good! And boy did we, I wish we would have videoed it because it was Hilarious! He screamed A LOt! We sang Happy Birthday, opened presents, did a pinata and had cupcakes and ice cream, YUM! Apparently BATMAN is our family Favorite! Britton in his new Batman costume.
My Mom and Dad, I mean Superwoman and Batman! (what good sports)
Lois Lane and Woody!

Lyle and Janelle {aka: XMen and Superwoman}

Brian(he likes them all, kinda like Britt)

Bloomsday!

Janelle and I took a trip this weekend to her home town of Spokane, Washington. We went to run a little race called Bloomsday. It's a 12k race with some hills and a big hill called doomsday hill. We finished it and it was great fun, I loved it! It was like nothing I had ever done before, I was amazed when I heard there were over 56,000 people who participated. Another thing they do at this race is they don't give you your shirt until you have finished the race. The shirts are a secret until you have crossed the finish line. Unless of course you happen to see the fast people with theirs on before you have even started! By the way that didn't happen to us, I'm just sayin. Janelle and I finished it in 1:06, which is just under a 9 minute mile (yes we done good!) Here we are before the race, ready to go! Janelle's sister ran it with us.

We made it !

After, all cleaned up with our shirts. Yellow this year, with that design.

Some more Stamp Night Projects

We had Stamp night last night and I wanted to post the projects we made. I had seen these cute skinny clear bags with m & m's in them and couldn't find them anywhere. You have to order them online at http://www.clearbags.com/ it is also where i got the clear "hello there" box. They have some really cute stuff. I suggest you get a large group and order, the shipping was pricey!! If you want to make you own clear boxes I used transparencies to make this treat holder. Turned out pretty cute. My niece at BYU needs chocolate (dark chocolate) so i am sending her a little care package!
